Roland Petit developed expertise in ACOA issues through extensive research and training, leading scores of workshops, serving on the presidential awarding-winning CONTACT crisis intervention hotline, conferring with other professionals but most importantly living as an ACOA and speaking with others who share that past.
Through observation and experience, it became clear what worked in the healing, growth and recovery process. He has taken this knowledge and documented it in Transformation for Life so that other ACOAs, some of whom do not geographically have access to support groups, can use it to heal. Roland Petit holds a Masters Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, was ordained an Elder, an Interfaith Minister and has been a training and development manager at one of the world's largest corporations.
